Snake made of edible dough

from Peanut Inventions Show/Carnegie Science Center’s Kitchen Theater/Pittsburgh, PA

Recipe:

1 cup peanut butter

1 1/4 cup powdered milk

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup powdered sugar

Mix all ingredients together. Knead and enjoy.

To make the snake in the drawing above, use decorator icing to make the lines on the snake’s body and add chocolate chips to complete the design.

Edible Play Dough: Make a Caterpillar

RECIPE:

1 ENVELOPE (1 ¼ CUP) POWDERED MILK

½ CUP POWDERED SUGAR

1/2 CUP HONEY

1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER

 

PROCESS:

DO NOT COOK.

MIX AND KNEAD TOGETHER.

 

TO MAKE THE CATERPILLAR PICTURED ABOVE, USE CRAISINS OR RAISINS FOR THE MOUTH AND EYES AND DOT THE BODY OF THE CATERPILLAR WITH SUNFLOWER SEEDS AND MORE CRAISINS OR RAISINS. USE TWIZZLE STIX FOR THE “EARS.”

YUM!
